On September 1, 2021, we transitioned HealthCare platforms, from Valant to AthenaNet. We hope the new system provides a better experience to you. We have been working hard on the implementation to make the transition as smooth as possible and avoid any lapses in access to care. But, as you know, "things happen", and if you have any problems with the new system, please contact our office, and we will be happy to assist you.
We ask of you to please create a patient portal account in the new system, and starting use the new portal to check in for appointments, request refills and send secure communications.
You will receive a message via text message and/or e-mail confirming your appointment as soon as this is made, this message will give you the option of adding this appointment to your calendar.
When the time for your appointment approached, you will get an automated appointment reminder via text 3 days before your appointment . This will give you the option to confirm the appointment or reschedule.
If you confirm the appointment or do not respond to this message, we will start getting ready to see you. Once we have verified your insurance benefits, we will send you an e-mail letting you know the expected payment amount at the time of the appointment, and prompting you to complete your clinical rating scales.
For all telehealth appointments, we will include the clinical rating scales in this reminder e-mail, so make sure to open it and complete your forms before your appointment.
If your visit is in person, you can complete the questionnaires in the patient portal after checking in for your appoinmtent.
15 minutes before your scheduled appoinmtent, you will get a final reminder text. We ask that you log in to your portal then to review your information.
Before your appoinmtent, please take the time to make any updates necessary to your:
Having accurate healthcare information will avoid errors and delays in your care.
You will also be able to make a one time payment from the patient portal. Our staff will verify payment the day after service is provided, and if there is balance or credit, you will be notified, and the balance will be deducted from the card you have on file on Ivy Pay.
If you check-in using your phone or mobile device, the clinical forms will come up automatically.
If you are using a computer, once you have checked in, you need to go to:
there you will find the depression and anxiety scales (PHQ-9 and GAD-7).
We are still working on the Quality of Life rating scale and the other forms some of our patients complete to track other specific problems.
Once you are ready to start your telehealth session, you can go back to the home page or the appointment section, and click on the link or the Join Telehealth Call icon.
We hope you are able to complete these steps without problems, but if you have any issues, do not hesitate to request assistance, we are here for you.
Thanks again for the privilege of trusting us with your mental health care needs.
We look forward to seeing you soon,
